Whizbang’s Workshop was Hearthstone’s first expansion for the Year of the Pegasus, in 2024.
Rooted in the lore of Whizbang the Wonderful—Hearthstone’s beloved, unpredictable deck-builder—this expansion invites players into his eccentric workshop. The logo design captures Whizbang’s theme of whimsy magic and experimentation.

Typography
In the type exploration process, I worked in close collaboration with the Hearthstone Dev Team, in crafting the backplate and co-developing the color palette. The logo reflects the playful chaos and imaginative charm of Whizbang’s world—bold, toy-like letterforms.
Type Treatment
The Whizbang’s Workshop type treatment draws inspiration from classic toy packaging and whimsical workshop signage. The color palette, developed in collaboration with the Hearthstone Dev Team, features saturated tones that echo that of the expansion.
