The Great Dark Beyond was Hearthstone’s third expansion for the Year of the Pegasus, in 2024.
This expansion aimed to evoke a sense of nostalgia, especially for players familiar with the Burning Legion, the Titans, and the cosmic stakes of Azeroth.

Typography
The typographic design, crafted a title treatment echoing the vast, mysterious energy of Warcraft's cosmic void. Working closely with the Hearthstone Dev Team, we developed a backplate that merged the game's whimsical tone with the deep-space themes rooted in Warcraft lore.
Type Treatment
The type treatment for The Great Dark Beyond features a metal texture, with streaked highlights and battle chips that convey age, conflict, and cosmic wear.
